One Championship backers remain ‘fully engaged’ following board departures

Group One Holdings, the Singapore-registered owner of mixed martial arts promoter One Championship, has said its investors remain “fully engaged” after two directors working at firms invested in the group stepped down from its board.

Fock Wai-Hoong, managing director at investment company Temasek, and Derek Lau, chief executive of Temasek subsidiary Heliconia Capital Management, both stepped down from the board last month, Deal Street Asia reported. Lau joined the board in 2016, while Fock joined the board last July.
