New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has struck a five-year agreement with the country’s provincial cricket associations and players’ union that will see male and female players receive equal match fees from next month.

The deal means that players will receive about 30 per cent of NZC’s forecast revenues over the next five years. This works out at just over NZ$20m ($12.3m/€12m) per year until the end of the 2026-27 season.
