The new executive board of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) has outlined a number of reform plans, including more out-of-competition tests and a review into its financial practices over the past 10 years, as the governing body looks to secure the sport’s Olympic future.

The executive board met this week at the IWF’s headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. Iraqi official Mohammed Jalood was elected as the IWF’s new president last month, with a total of 12 new members also joining its board.
