MotoGP season commences with strong ratings in Italy, Germany

The 2023 MotoGP season opened to strong ratings in Italy and Germany as the motorcycling championship debuted its new sprint race concept.

The Portuguese Grand Prix saw Italy’s reigning world champion, Francesco Bagnaia, get his title defence off to the ideal start as the Ducati rider won both the main event on Sunday and Saturday’s first sprint race.
