MLS strikes four-year linear deal with Fox Sports as ESPN run comes to end

Major League Soccer has announced a four-year, English- and Spanish-language domestic rights deal with Fox Sports starting with the 2023 season, ending a long-standing partnership with ESPN which had carried matches since the league launched in 1996.

Both ESPN and TelevisaUnivision have declined to carry select, non-exclusive MLS games in the wake of the league’s new 10-year global rights deal with tech giant Apple.
