The United Soccer League has solidified plans for an expansion franchise in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that will begin play in 2025 in the USL Championship in a new, 8,000-seat stadium located in the Iron District MKE, the city’s entertainment district

Owned by local investors Kacmarcik Enterprises and Milwaukee Pro Soccer, the club will be the city’s first professional outdoor soccer team in more than two decades. The second-tier club, however, will not be Kacmarick Enterprises' only Wisconsin-based soccer investment, as the company is also an investor in Forward Madison FC, which plays in Madison in USL’s League One, the third tier of American soccer.
