Liverpool’s Expedia deal meets club’s key criteria and delivers fee uplift

After the Covid-19 pandemic scuppered a deal agreed in principle earlier this year, Liverpool entered the 2020-21 Premier League without a sleeve sponsor but interest from Expedia has helped deliver the uplift and mid-term security it had been seeking.

SportBusiness Sponsorship understands the travel website group will pay an average of between £9m (€10m/$11.7m) and £10m per season over three seasons until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
