Vincent Labrune, president of France’s Professional Football League (LFP), has revealed that the invitation to tender for the next cycle of domestic broadcast rights to the top-tier Ligue 1 will launch in the autumn of 2023.

The cycle will cover the period from 2024-25 to 2027-28. Live rights are currently held by online retail giant Amazon and pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus, while telecoms operator Free has an agreement in place for near-live rights.
