The Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) has awarded hosting rights for the 2031 and 2033 editions of its showpiece event, the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, to Laos and the Philippines, respectively.

The decision was made at a SEAGF Council meeting, with Laos due to stage the multi-sport event for only the second time after the 2009 Games in Vientiane.
