Kroenke-backed NFL stadium for L.A. market approved by city council

Efforts to return an NFL American football franchise to the Los Angeles area were boosted on Tuesday evening as Inglewood City Council voted unanimously to approve the development of a new 80,000-seat stadium – a project backed by St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke.
