Arsenal could play preseason matches in new LA NFL Stadium

Arsenal and the LA Rams share an owner in Stan Kroenke but may also share a building in the near future.  The LA Rams’ new stadium, which will cost an estimated $500m (€441m), is slated to open in 2022. But Arsenal and football in general will also have a home at the American football facility.

LA Rams’ chief operating officer Kevin Demoff told Sky Sports that “I think we could absolutely see Arsenal play a pre-season game here. Maybe we will try and get a Champions League final, and hopefully we can see Arsenal in that, but that may be asking a little bit much.”

Arsenal has often eschewed pre-season tours of the United States, generally preferring trips to Asia. The Gunners have made only two trips to the United States since 1990- in 2014 and 2016.
