Korean official nominated for ISU president; Russia and Belarus among event bidders

The Korea Skating Union (KSU) has nominated its former president and current Samsung Global Strategy Group president, Kim Jae-youl, to succeed Jan Dijkema as president of the International Skating Union (ISU).

Kim has been a member of the ISU Council since 2016 and was executive vice-president of the organising committee for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. He also served on the coordination commission for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and was vice-chairman of the Korean Sport and Olympic Committee.
