Juventus to appeal against 15-point punishment for transfer irregularities

Serie A club Juventus is to launch an appeal against the decision by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to dock the club 15 points after it was found guilty of transfer irregularities.

The punishment was tougher than the nine-point deduction the FIGC had requested in its appeal against an earlier judgement which had followed an investigation into how Juventus and a number of other clubs recorded the value of player exchange deals in their accounts.
