IOC opens proceedings against Russian athletes as Putin speaks out

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has today (Friday) opened disciplinary proceedings against 28 Russian athletes who competed at the 2014 winter Olympic Games in Sochi, as President Vladimir Putin issued further denials regarding the existence of a state-sponsored doping system in the country.
