Rights distribution agency HBA Media has secured deals with multiple broadcasters for this year’s edition of the $3m (€2.7m) horse racing event Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1), including new OTT players.
New OTT players for this year’s race include LIVENow, the Aser Ventures-owned pay-per-view streaming platform, in France, Italy and Germany, Disney’s Star+ in Latin America and Eclat Media Group in Southeast Asia. All three broadcasters have acquired live rights while Sky Dreamworks-owned Wasu.TV has picked up highlights rights in China.
