Jean-Philippe Gatien has stepped down as sports director of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee.
Gatien, a former professional table tennis player and French Olympian, has decided to leave the position for “personal reasons”, according to French newspaper L'Équipe. He will be replaced by his deputy Aurélie Merle.
