International Weightlifting Federation interim president Michael Irani has today (Thursday) issued an “unreserved apology” to all athletes cheated of the opportunity to compete fairly after charges were issued against former president Tamás Aján, and two other senior officials, who were found to have covered up positive drugs tests.
