Fifa to announce 2026 World Cup host cities on June 16

World governing soccer body Fifa will announce the host cities for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada, at an event in New York City on June 16.

Sixteen host cities are expected to be announced, including 10 in the States and three each in Mexico and Canada.
