Fiba’s new competition system set for August vote as Brazil handed Rio 2016 deadline

The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) has said a final report on its much debated new system of competition will be put forward for approval in August, while it has handed the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB) a deadline of July 31 to settle “significant outstanding dues” and secure Brazil’s place at its home Olympic Games.
