Anfield and Emirates Stadium have been dropped from the list of potential venues for Euro 2028, with football associations in the UK and Ireland set to submit their preliminary bid dossier to Uefa later this year.

As few as six stadiums in England will be used during the tournament if the UK and Ireland’s bid is successful, according to The Times. Ireland would have two venues in the shape of Aviva Stadium and Croke Park in Dublin, while Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would have one each.
