ESA survey: Sponsorship industry confidence highest since Covid-19 began

European sponsorship industry confidence has reached its highest level since the Covid-19 pandemic struck in spring 2020, according to the European Sponsorship Association's ‘Sponsorship Sentiment Tracker’.

Based on a regular survey of sentiment among sports industry professionals representing agencies, rights-holders and sponsors, the 12th wave of the tracker, covering this summer, recorded an average score of 7.5 out of 10. Wave 10, in April 2021, recorded a dip in optimism to 6.7, while positive sentiment increased in wave 11 to 7 out of 10.
