Billionaires Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris, who are majority owners of Premier League team Aston Villa, have entered into exclusive negotiations with Major League Soccer about securing an expansion team in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It means Las Vegas has moved to the brink of becoming MLS's 30th team, securing the rights ahead of San Diego, California, and Phoenix, Arizona.
