DCMS calls on BBC to explain Bellator MMA coverage

The UK government has called on public-service broadcaster the BBC to explain its decision to strike a rights deal with mixed martial arts promotion Bellator.

The government’s Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport Committee has raised its concerns over the BBC showcasing Bellator and MMA amid a growing public debate over concussion in sport.
