Cricket Australia to commence Ashes summer against Afghanistan

Australia’s summer of cricket will commence with a Test match against Afghanistan in November before taking on England in the Ashes over five weeks around the New Year, Cricket Australia said today (Wednesday).

Afghanistan will travel to the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, Tasmania from November 27 - December 1 for the Test against Australia, which was called off last year due to Covid-19.
