Chinese Football Association unveils new youth leagues

The Chinese Football Association has announced the launch of new national youth leagues, as part of its talent development plans.

The China Youth Football League (CYFL) will have competitions for both boys and girls in nine age groups. It is being created under a partnership between the CFA, China's education ministry and the General Administration of Sport (GAS). The bodies yesterday unveiled a plan for the leagues covering 2022 to 2024.
