Catalunya goes solo with 2030 Winter Olympics bid after with break with Aragón

Catalunya has presented a proposal to the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) for the region to submit a bid to host the 2030 Winter Olympics following the collapse of a joint effort with Aragón.

The proposal states that ice sports would be held in Barcelona, Badalona and Gavà, while snow events would be staged in La Molina, Masella, Espot, Baqueira Beret and Boí Taüll.
