Caesars Entertainment signs with Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils

Caesars Entertainment has announced a multi-year partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.

The partnership between the casino-entertainment provider and Harris Blitzer Sport and Entertainment (HBSE), the ownership conglomerate behind the three sports properties, will see Caesars open a 5,000-square foot “Caesars Club” premium lounge at Prudential Center, the home of the New Jersey Devils.

The partnership will seek to introduce New Jersey sports fans to Caesar Entertainment’s new sportsbook experience, now available at two of its Atlantic City properties, and The Caesars Casino & Sports app through special promotions and activations inside the exclusive lounge.

In addition to exposure on Prudential Center’s 80 digital boards and 4,800-square-foot outdoor LED board, Caesars’ branding will appear on Club Level tickets, premium wristbands, concourse pillars, signage and waitstaff attire. In a Caesars-branded “Shoot for a Million” on-ice promotion, select New Jersey Devils fans will have the chance to win $1m (€880,000) during the second-period break, in 10 regular-season games.

Caesars will also have a presence at Philadelphia 76ers games through advertising placements. Additionally, the organization will promote Harrah’s Philadelphia, a Casino and Racetrack on the Chester, Pennsylvania waterfront, and two of its other signature brands to Philadelphia 76ers’ regional and international fanbases in a series of online and in-game contests. 76ers fans will have the opportunity to win a complimentary stay at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino or an all-expenses paid weekend getaway to The Linq Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas via the new “Score for the Shore” in-game, on-court promotion and the “Live Like a Caesars VIP” 76ers social media contest, respectively.

The legalisation of betting in a selection of US states has led to a host of sponsorship deals between US teams, leagues and sportsbook operators. The deal between Caesars and HBSE represents the first time a gaming- entertainment company has signed a partnership with both an NBA and NHL team.
