BWF expands World Tour and upgrades tournaments for 2023-26 cycle

The Badminton World Federation is adding four new stops to its annual World Tour and upgrading several tournaments in a shake-up for the period from 2023 to 2026.

New tournaments are joining the third-tier, Super 500 level of the World Tour from Australia, Canada, Finland and Japan. There are already Super 500 events in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.
