Birmingham’s World Games delivered $165m economic impact, report shows

The International World Games Association (IWGA) has revealed that this year’s World Games in Birmingham, Alabama, generated an economic impact of $165m (€156m) for the local area.

The IWGA’s evaluation report, released today (Monday), noted that the Games attracted a ticketed spectator attendance of 140,217. The Games took place from July 7-17, with Protective Stadium serving as the main venue.
