Ahead of the National Women's Soccer League's 11th season, commissioner Jessica Berman lauded a 20-per-cent increase in season ticket memberships across the league and record tickets already sold for the opening matches this weekend (March 25-26).
Berman called attendance and ticket sales "the rocket fuel that will feed the growth of this league" after the league set single-game attendance records last season with Southern California expansion sides San Diego Wave and Angel City FC, while viewership for the league jumped by 30 per cent.
