Barcelona Women sign sponsorship deal with clothing brand Naulover

Spanish LaLiga club Barcelona has signed up clothing brand Naulover as a sponsor of its women’s team.

The contract between the Catalan organisations will run for two and a half years, until the end of the 2022-23 football season.

The deal represents the first time Barça Femení has had a sponsor for off-the field clothing.

Its players and coaching staff will wear Naulover on all away trips for league, Champions League, Copa de la Reina and cup final games.

The agreement adds to the sponsorship portfolio of the Barcelona Women’s team which includes main sponsor Stanley Black & Decker. The American industrial tool and household hardware manufacturer became the team’s first front-of-shirt sponsor in 2018. Sportswear giant Nike is the kit supplier for the both the club’s male and female teams.

Barça Femení have been highly successful since the club’s board of directors committed to develop women’s sports at the start of the club’s presidential term in 2014. The team became professional in 2015 and has gone on to win four Primera División titles and six Copa de la Reina tournaments. The team currently sits top of the 2019-20 Primera División table.
