Badalona to host basketball’s Copa del Rey in 2023

The Asociación de Clubes Españoles de Baloncesto (ACB), the governing body for club basketball in Spain, has awarded hosting rights for the 2023 Copa del Rey to the Palau Municipal d’Esports in Badalona.

The venue will stage the eight-team tournament from from February 16-19 next year as part of a deal between the ACB and the Badalona City Council. It will mark the first time in 38 years that Badalona has hosted the competition.
