The appointments are designed to strengthen the team led by Chris Dehring, managing director and CEO.

We now have our core senior staff in place, with the exception of our cricket operations director, who will be appointed shortly.”

A former Barbadian assistant commissioner of Police and commandant of the Regional Police Training Centre in Barbados, John Collymore, is the security director.

Derek Jones, a senior partner with one of the region’s prestigious law firms ‘Myers Fletcher and Gordon’, has been seconded to the organisation to act as senior legal counsel.

The corporate communications director is Marvia Roach, a Caribbean national who until recently was based in the UK. She coordinated the delivery and exploitation of all aspects of the Global Partner designation on behalf of Pepsi during the last ICC Cricket World Cup held in South Africa.

Christopher Kean, former CFO of Trinidadian conglomerate, Neal & Massy, will be finance director.

Michael Hall, chief cricket operations officer for the West Indies Cricket Board from 2001 to 2003, has been appointed as cricket operations director and will oversee all cricket related activity in the host venue countries.
