Italian automotive manufacturer Alfa Romeo has announced that it will end its wide-ranging agreement with the Sauber Group-owned Formula 1 team at the end of the 2023 season.

Alfa Romeo only recently extended its title sponsorship of the team, which has been known as Alfa Romeo Racing since 2019. The association between Alfa Romeo and Sauber began in 2017 and the team was called Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team for two seasons before taking on its current moniker.
