Alberta pulls bid for 2030 Commonwealth Games, citing cost concerns

Alberta is the latest Commonwealth Games bidder to pull out of possibly hosting the games, withdrawing from a 2030 bid involving the cities of Calgary and Edmonton because of estimated costs of up to C$2.68bn (€1.83bn/$2bn).
