US investment fund in takeover talks for Ligue 1’s Bordeaux

US investment fund GACP has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire French Ligue 1 football club Girondins de Bordeaux.

The announcement was made by Bordeaux’s current owner, French media group M6, which acquired the club in 1999.
