Australian football club Sydney FC has launched an augmented reality tool to give supporters a 3D preview of its Sydney Football Stadium, which is scheduled to open later this year.
The tool, built with AR specialists 7DX and stadium designer Cox Architecture, allows users to access a 3D model of the venue by scanning a QR code on their mobile phone. The model can be projected onto a flat surface, such as a kitchen table or office desk, allowing users to examine the stadium.
