Indian pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks and media company Zee Entertainment, which last week announced plans to merge into a publicly-listed company, are reportedly set to bid for rights to cricket’s Indian Premier League for the 2023-27 cycle.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced earlier this week that its invitation to tender for the rights will be released this month.
