Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) has signed up sports apparel and equipment brand Puma to the top tier of its sponsorship portfolio.
The global deal will see Puma provide the Official Match Ball for all BSWW competitions, as well as the uniforms for its officials and entertainment crew.
The brand will gain visibility and activation rights at all BSWW events, with co-exclusivity on some event assets with Spain’s top-tier football league LaLiga.
In February 2019, LaLiga signed up as a global sponsor to beach soccer in an agreement that will run until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Alongside a prominent on-site presence, the deal grants LaLiga broadcast rights to all BSWW competitions, which are covered by its OTT platform, LaLigaSportsTV.
Puma is also a sponsor of LaLiga in a separate contract, having replaced Nike as the Official Match Ball Supplier ahead of the 2019-20 season.
The German sports brand’s agreement with the BSWW will also provide the company with access to the organisation’s ambassadors for campaigns and promotions.
The Puma ball will feature at a BSWW event for the first time at the ‘Mundialito de Clubes’, which will take place between February 12 and February 16 in Moscow.
The BSWW sponsorship portfolio is completed by heal and nutrition specialists Prozis, football streaming platform MyCujoo and technical suppliers Arena Group and AkerTime.
