Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has announced that it has initiated an investigation into the technical glitches suffered by streaming platform Viaplay since it entered the Polish market.
The regulator, which could issue a financial penalty, is studying whether the compensation of a 25-per-cent discount offered on customers’ next monthly payment is commensurate with the problems reported.
