Oakland Raiders ‘likely to play at Levi’s Stadium or Oracle Park in 2019’

The Oakland Raiders are reportedly poised to remain in the Bay Area in 2019 and will most likely share Levi’s Stadium with the San Francisco 49ers or Oracle Park with the San Francisco Giants.

The Raiders are looking for temporary venue ahead of their planned move to Las Vegas in 2020. San Diego, Reno and even London were discussed as possible locations but it appears that the team will stay local.

“If I was a betting man, I’d bet on them playing in San Francisco,” a source told CBS Sports.

“The Raiders don’t want to play at Levi’s, but from the league’s standpoint this really would be a lay-up. All of the infrastructure is already there. It would be the cheapest and the easiest.”

Remaining in Oakland remains an outside option but Raiders owner Mark Davis has vowed not to continue playing in the city following its lawsuit against the NFL team over the move to Las Vegas.
