Morocco sets out major stadium investment programme for 2025 AFCON, 2030 World Cup

The Moroccan Government has outlined plans to spend MAD5bn (€456.4m/$483.5m) on a new stadium in the city of Benslimane as part of significant venue investment package targeted at the country’s staging of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and co-hosting of the 2030 Fifa World Cup.
