French Ligue 1 side Metz has signed a three-year kit supply deal with Italian sportswear brand Kappa.

The new agreement will run from 2020-21 to 2022-23.

Kappa will replace sportswear giant Nike, which has supplied Metz’s kit for the last seven seasons. Nike has already lost Brest from its sponsorship portfolio after the Ligue 1 club agreed a deal with rival adidas.

Kappa returns as a sponsor of Metz after supplying the club’s kit from 2006-07 to 2010-11.
