Mayor Johnson appoints Ross as LOC nominee

The London Mayor, Boris Johnson, has appointed David Ross, non-executive deputy chairman of Carphone Warehouse, as his nominee to represent him on the board of the London Organising Committee for the 2012 Olympic Games, with a roving brief to monitor costs.
