The start date of Sri Lankan T20 cricket tournament the Lanka Premier League has been postponed from the end of this month until mid-November.
Sri Lanka Cricket said a compulsory 14-day quarantine for travellers entering the country had proved an issue for foreign players that were due to to take part. The board had hoped Sri Lankan authorities would relax quarantine rules for players and other travellers involved in running the tournament including television broadcast staff.
