K League hails increase in digital audiences

South Korean football's K League has reported significant increases in audiences for its digital content in 2020 compared to the previous season.

The league said the average maximum concurrent viewers - the peak live audience - for live streams of K League 1 and 2 matches on Naver and Daum, two of Korea's biggest digital media platforms, was 19,344. This is up 26.8 per cent on 2019, when the equivalent figure was 15,248.
