The prospect of a joint bid for the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games has emerged, with stakeholders in Switzerland, France and Italy said to be studying a proposal.
A working group has been established in the Swiss canton of Valais, according to Swiss newspaper Le Temps, in order to study an Olympic project. This would centre on Espace Mont-Blanc, a border cooperation initiative for the protection and enhancement of the region.
