Former FA chief executive Watmore named ECB chair

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Ian Watmore will succeed Colin Graves as the body’s new chair at the end of the year.

The ECB said the appointment of Watmore (pictured), who served as group chief executive of the English Football Association (FA) from 2009 to 2010, has been announced now to allow him to shadow Graves and ensure a smooth transition.
