Bill Foley, owner of NHL franchise Vegas Golden Knights and chairman of Premier League club AFC Bournemouth, has expanded his interest in European football by acquiring a minority stake in French Ligue 1 club FC Lorient.
Black Knight Football and Entertainment (BKFE), Foley’s investment vehicle, has bought a “significant stake” in Lorient from Loïc Féry, who will remain the majority shareholder and retain the presidency.
