Entain to cut back sports sponsorship in Australia amid new gambling advert rules

Betting group Entain has signalled that it will reduce its sports sponsorship spending in Australia following the introduction of stricter advertising regulations for gambling companies in the country.

Entain, which operates the Ladbrokes and Neds betting brands in Australia, said its branding will no longer appear on sports kits as part of a wider reduction of the group’s sports sponsorship activities.
